Brazil really is one of the few countries in the world that can be visited at any point during the year as it has high temperatures and little rain throughout. However, even when it does rain, the majority of the country is still worth a visit during your Brazil trip. The peak season to book your Brazil holiday is usually during our winter months (November to March) as the temperatures are in the mid 20's at worst, but are usually in the high 20's, and often reach mid 30's. This is also the time of the lowest rainfall in places such as Rio and Salvador. However, the Amazon and Pantanal areas do have quite a high rainfall, particularly in December to February, but then again, if you're in the Rainforest, then rain only adds to the whole Brazil travel experience, doesn't it?
Despite pretty much guaranteeing glorious weather throughout your Brazil trip, there is just one drawback; the sheer number of people and overall cost. Hotel prices shoot up, a lot of attractions are crowded, day trips are often sold out (so book in advance), and the flights to and from are probably more expensive too. However, as it is such a massive country (the 5th largest in fact), there's always plenty of places to visit and things to do to escape the crowds during your Brazil travel experience.
Our British summer months are the coolest in Brazil, but temperatures are still usually around the low 20's. What's more, the real plus side to travelling to Brazil at this time of year is that it has the lowest rainfall during these months. On top of this, there are usually a few less travellers. This makes it a great time to book your holiday to Brazil.
One good thing about the rain in Brazil is that it's usually short and sharp and with the high temperatures, often comes high humidity. So however much it does rain during your Brazil trip, it tends to evaporate pretty quickly, leaving behind a fresh, beautiful and sunny day, so you can make the most of your Brazil holiday and explore this fantastic country!
