Vai-vai (Go-go) Samba School is São Paulo´s Carnival Champion this year. Its music, decorations, choreography and dances revolve around the life of renowned Brazilian pianist and maestro Jõao carlos Martins who is a model of overcoming obstacles and perseverance. Fourth place is won by Mancha Verde. I cheered for this samba school because it is the samba counterpart of my favorite soccer team Palmeiras. Here´s a clip of its performance:
